All pipes come fully tuned up and ready to play. Included in the above prices are bellows where appropriate, and velvet bag cover, but not cases or spare reeds. The above prices apply to any combination of woods (Blackwood and mopane) mounts (Boxwood, art. ivory and satin bloodwood) and ferrules/sleeves (Gold and nickel plated). Other woods may be available and the price is likely to be similar. With most sets we can fit solid sterling silver ferrules which can be hand engraved, price on application.
We have a good supply of top quality boxwood and bloodwood which are attractive alternatives to art.ivory with both blackwood and mopane sets for mounts and ferrules. We fit metal ferrules to the drones on our smallpipes where the strength/weight ratio is more important because of the smaller size. On Border and Session pipes we generally only fit boxwood, satin bloodwood or art.ivory ferrules to the drones because we consider that this is more in keeping with the traditional style of the instrument. Metal ferrules may be available if requested.

Separate bellows cost £275, and padded bellows cost £305. Additional keys start at £60, and a drone switch is £85. A baritone drone (on border pipes, it is standard on smallpipes) adds £20 and with a stop tap adds £40 to the cost of the border pipes which would otherwise have two tenors. For any other price details please inquire. Postage with full insurance cover is charged at cost. Professional quality cases are available at £75, a simpler style which is equally sturdy costs £50. As our chanter designs have changed over the years we are cautious about sending reeds on spec through the post, we prefer to have the chanter to hand, this is of course not always possible. We do not generally supply reeds for other makers pipes unless exceptionally, the owner comes to the workshop and we happen to have one that is suitable.
Deposit 15% at time of order, balance is payable at the time of collection or before dispatch.
We are not, and are not required to be, registered for VAT, so none of this tax is included in our prices. Consequently it cannot be refunded on the pipes etc we sell wherever they are delivered.

Security Notice
It is generally considered safe to advise credit card details by email if the information is split into two or three emails. Apart from the (usually) 16 digit card number we need to know the expiry date and the three digit security code on the back of the card. We run good security measures on our computer and we delete the bulk of your information as soon as we have recorded it.
